Bring your appetite and bring your questions as we cook our way through the conversation of sustainable food that surrounds us everywhere today. This class is designed to offer you innovative organic recipes, with a fun serving of education. Students will walk away with the confidence to shop, eat, and talk organic.  Alison Caldwell, M.A., Sustainable Food Expert & Home Chef, Alison Caldwell holds a masters degree in Food Studies from New York University. Her care for a fair food system inspired her to pursue a path where sustainable agriculture and social responsibility intersect by acquiring a comprehensive understanding of the origins, patterns, and future of food on a global scale. Recently, Alison has spent the last few years traveling to Northern India to Dr. Vandana Shiva’s sustainable teaching farm, Navdanya, where she developed and facilitated an international organic farming and food politics course. Ultimately, Alison educates where food, culture, and politics merge. Through cooking, media, writing, and photography, Alison inspires and creatively informs people about the integrity and joy of food  Menu TBD. $45/person
